I was very lucky to have met Scott (owner) from Burnaby Grills. I impatiently called the store on Dec 26 which was a Saturday and they were closed. I was regretting not getting a very hard to find Traeger Ironwood 650 Pellet Grill which was sold out everywhere but Burnaby Grills had 1 in stock.
Scott called me back and he went out of the way to open up his shop for me to purchase the grill. I had such a great conversation with him, he gave us tips and tricks with the grill, recommended different rubs, told me his life story, and showed us pics of his own BBQ! Such a personal and charismatic guy! Anyone working in sales and runs a business needs to learn from this man!

My 13 year old Weber Summit rusted through in a few places and I knew it's time for a new barbeque. Went into Burnaby Grills and a gentleman greeted me at the door and asked how he could help. I told him I was looking for a new barbeque and that I was leaning on a Napoleon. He showed me many different models of Napoleon and Weber and explained to me all the pros and cons of each. I told him then that I had a Summit and the problem I had with it. Instead of selling me a barbecue which I was ready to do, he called the Weber support for me to see if they could fix my barbecue under warranty. Next thing I knew was Weber sent me a brand new cook box along with necessary accessories, completely free of charge. He even called me to follow up to see if the parts arrived. I did not buy the Weber from him 13 years ago but he definitely went out of his way to help me. He is courteous, honest and extremely knowledgeable about barbecues. I am referring all my friends to him because I know I am dealing with an honest man. Thank you
